The BCS Drama program offers extraordinary variety and opportunity. Students are able to challenge their talents in multiple areas, such as: creating believable characters; crafting scenework; writing and performing soliloquies, monologues and short plays; and even learning different acting techniques for performing on camera.

Students in the drama program attend classes and put on performances in the R. Lewis Evans Memorial Theatre, a stunning 120-seat, state-of-the-art, Black Box theatre complete with a workshop, tech booth featuring computer-controlled lighting, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, generous storage and a studio.

The BCS Players’ Club has a long, impressive and eclectic history at the school, with productions spanning from "The Pirates of Penzance" to "Turandot," from William Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard, and from "The Miracle Worker" to "Little Shop of Horrors." Every year the club stages a dramatic performance where students have the opportunity to perform, design wardrobe, work on set construction and particpate in promotion. The BCS Players’ Club works with their student advisor to put on one of the best and most anticipated annual events at BCS.
