A winter-ful trip

Our Winter Adventure Training crease is offered to students in Form IV and up every year. While no prior experience is needed to enroll, coaches ask and look for enthusiasm, a willingness to try something new, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.

Over the past three months, the group has learned outdoor skills, including snowshoeing and skiing, building fires, outdoor cooking, survival skills, first aid, and winter safety. This past weekend, they put their skills and knowledge to the test and ventured to Mont-Mégantic National Park for a camping trip. The trip was organized by the students themselves, who took charge of meal planning, activity scheduling, and equipment organization. Parents—head to Flickr to see photos from their expedition!
