BCS Tech Week 2025 has come to a close.
We’ve had workshops on drones and writing creatively with AI, a Fix-It Café, Scribble Bots, and a Chapel presentation from the Robotics Team. The Sumo Robot Competition was a crowd favourite!
On Friday, we hosted seven alumni who came to speak about their careers in STEM and answer students’ questions on how to succeed in the field. Special mention goes to Tracey Stevens (BCS’87) for addressing all of our Form V, VI, and VII female students in a meaningful conversation regarding women in science careers. Thanks also to Jonathan Crowther (BCS’14), Felix Roberge (BCS’00), and Rebe Leblond (BCS’16) for showcasing the Engineering fields, and to Andy Kalevar (BCS’02), Hannah Carey (BCS’11), and Vio Zeitlinger (BCS’20) for sharing their insights about the Life Sciences.
