Forensic fun

Mr. Samson's Form IV Science class focuses on human biology and yesterday they participated in a forensic science lab.

"Right now, we are studying the cardiovascular system and blood components," explains Mr. Samson. "Students have learned about the roles of blood plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. They have also learned about the different blood types and the complications of blood donation." To test their knowledge in the field, students analyzed anti-A and anti-B serums against the collected samples to find out the blood types of each component of a simulated crime scene. They examined the blood of the suspects, victims, the crime scene splatter, and the blood on the weapon. This led them to their conclusion of the killer’s identity—CSI Lennoxville here we come!
