Today was a fantastic day filled with all sorts of events and activities.
Our morning started off with the Spring Crease Athletic Awards, where trophies, colours, and medals were handed out for each crease. Head to our End-of-Year Events Livestream page to watch the recording, and parents—go to Flickr for all photos!
After the assembly students hopped over to the Track & Field Finals to compete for the winning titles of each event. Alistair, Form IV, set a new BCS record for the 100m sprint that has stood since 1994, while Livia, Form II, also smashed the existing 100m sprint that has stood since 1995 and a long jump record that has stood since 2001. WOW! We are so proud of all of our Bears who competed this morning.
Following the Track & Field Finals, we held our End-of-Year Extravaganza in the Quad with inflatable games, a dunk tank, lawn games, Beavertails, and McDonald's. The highlight of the event was seeing Mr. Tessier, our Associate Head of School for Student Life, volunteer for the dunk tank (check out today’s #BCS1836Moments on our stories for the video!). After dinner, the festivities will continue with the Block Party and each house hosting different activities.
