Off the arts

Form VII IB Art students proudly displayed their art in School House and shared the results of their hard work and dedication with the community.

These students have spent two years developing their ideas and creating their work. "They were responsible for creating four to seven art works that follow a theme that they have chosen, either visually or conceptually," explained Visual Arts Teacher, Mr. Brandon. “Many works are created, and the best are curated into an exhibition."

The Visual Arts program allows our students to be active and collaborative participants in a wide range of creative processes, touching on every medium available. The talent displayed in today's exhibition was a true testament to our creative artists and the program. Final projects for the IB Art students are displayed each year for a couple of weeks for the entire BCS community to enjoy. Parents—head to Flickr this week for more photos from this year's event.
