This past Saturday, students gathered on Upper and Lower Gillard Fields to play in our annual Mini World Cup.
This year, we witnessed the fierce competition of seven teams: Asia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, United Nations, USA, and Quebec. Emerging victorious with the highest number of wins was United Nations!
“I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for a successful Mini World Cup,” expressed Mr. White in an email this morning. “Although there may have been some teams that lost, I feel as though the whole school won by having a fun morning of soccer!” To thank everyone for participating, he announced a free dress down day.
On behalf of the community, we would like to thank Mr. White for his exceptional organization of this tournament, as well as all the volunteers who helped referee.
Look out for more photos soon!
