From physics tutoring to SAT prep, we offer enrichment opportunities to students of all levels.

Learning strategists at the R.D.W. Howson Enrichment Centre help equip students with the tools they need to excel in their studies and in life.

Recognizing that not everyone has the same learning styles or needs, our team works collaboratively with students to help them set goals, manage their time, rank their priorities and find strategies to help them succeed. We work in conjunction with teachers to help students develop confidence in their own abilities.

  • Scheduling and arranging for private tutoring for students when requested.

The Writing Centre

Tutors are available to help students edit essays and research papers. These one-on-one sessions allow the students to review their writing, develop their ideas and improve their vocabulary, syntax and grammar. The tutors can also help with citations and referencing. This is a free drop-in service, offered twice a week.

Math / Physics Help

Additional math and physics support is offered in the evenings to supplement class instruction. Students can work on their homework under the supervision of a math/physics teacher, who will happily answer any questions. This is a free drop-in service, offered four nights a week.
