Bishop’s College School has a comprehensive and holistic Senior School program with course offerings and opportunities that are broad and balanced.

The Senior School’s academic curriculum focuses on developing approaches to learning and skills that transcend disciplines and on the acquisition of knowledge and conceptual understanding. In order to develop lifelong learners, teachers, through engaging academic experiences, encourage students to take an active role in the learning process and make well-informed choices. The multicultural learning environment at BCS enables students to become open-minded, reflective and principled risk-takers. BCS is a proud IB World School offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, as well as course certificates, which include a wide variety of IB courses available to students in Form VI (Grade 11) and Form VII (Grade 12).

With the required prerequisites, students in Form VI (Grade 11) receive a Quebec Secondary Studies Diploma (QCSSD), while students who complete Form VII (Grade 12) obtain the New Brunswick Secondary School Diploma (NBSSD).

The Senior School pathway is organized around six subject areas and the IB core. Students select a combination of subjects to design a personalized program based on their interests and strengths.

I am building my future, step by step, one decision at a time, one friendship formed at a time, with every opportunity I take.Alfonso Aguilar Vázquez, BCS'20
