Visiting BCS

List of 3 frequently asked questions.

  • Is it possible to visit BCS?

Absolutely! We are open for visits year-round and can personalize the experience according to your needs. To follow the recommendations put forth by our health authorities and government, all visitors to campus will need to fill out a questionnaire prior to the visit answering the following three questions:
      • Do I have any of the COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, difficulty breathing, or sudden loss of smell?
      • Have I returned from a trip outside the country within the last 14 days?
      • Have I been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes,’ we will not be able to permit your entry onto our campus.

In addition, all visitors must wear a mask and abide by physical distancing parameters while on our campus.
If you are unable to come for an in-person tour please contact our Admissions team who would be happy to offer alternative ways to learn about our campus or check out our virtual visit options.
  • How long will a visit last?

A campus visit, including a tour and interview, will take approximately two hours. Additional time (approximately another two hours) will be needed if the testing is also completed during the visit.
  • Can I speak to current parents or students?

Absolutely. Please contact the Admissions Office and we will make sure that you are connected with an appropriate person.

Once all the required documents have been received and interview and tests are completed, a decision is usually made within two weeks.
  • How can I prepare for the entrance tests and interview?

No preparation is needed for either. The entrance tests are written in order to assess the student’s current knowledge, while the interview helps our team get to know the student better.

No; if you have completed the TOEFL test, however, you may provide the results and we will add them to your file.
  • Is the SSAT required?

No; if you have completed the SSAT, however, you may provide the results and we will add them to your file.

Yes; students who are interested in writing the SAT have the opportunity to participate in one-week intensive SAT prep courses that are offered in the fall and the spring.
  • How do international students obtain a study permit?

Once the student has been admitted to BCS, the process to obtain a study permit may be started.

The Canadian permit can be obtained by contacting your nearest Canadian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission.
