Catching Up With... Franklin Raff, BCS'92

Our very own Franklin Raff, BCS'92, took home Emmys for his work as host and co-producer on the PBS documentary Great White Shark.

Directed by Steven Javitz, the documentary secured the Emmy for Best Documentary and Best On-Camera Talent - Program Host/Moderator.

Advised of the Emmy wins, Franklin says his first call was to his old drama teacher and Smith houseparent Lewis Evans, BCS'65. His early interest in the physical and biological sciences was sparked by his favourite BCS science teachers Marc Saint Jacques, Carolyn Gallagher, and David Dutton.

Franklin lives at Little Hunting Creek in Mount Vernon, Virginia. He may be reached at (212) 203-2100, and welcomes visitors.
