A beautiful day
With the sun making its appearance for the first time in a few days, we couldn't have asked for a better day to participate in Take Me Outside Day.
Outdoor chapel started off with a rockin' performance by none other than our 'famous' BCS teachers’ rock band, Powerful Others. Thank you to Mr. Benson, Mr. St-Amant, and Mr. Brandon for starting our day off on the right foot. After hearing the usual announcements, Liane Nowell, our Scholar-in-Residence, introduced herself to the community.
From block 2 to block 5, our students and teachers made use of the Adirondack chairs and picnic tables to hold their classes outdoors, including a pumpkin exploding activity and theatre practice. Unsurprisingly, the donuts, coffee table, and fire pit stations were popular hangout spots during this morning’s break. Our library staff even set up shop under a tent with outdoor-themed books that students could take out. Thank you to our teachers and staff who organized today's festivities and made the day special for our entire community!
Pssst....keep an eye out for the performance by Powerful Others on our socials this week.
