A Full-Circle Moment: Alexandra Johnston Named Association Board Chair
We are delighted to announce that Alex Johnston BCS’88 has been named the new Chair of Bishop’s College School (BCS) Association Board—a meaningful milestone in a lifelong relationship with the school.

A proud alumna, engaged BCS parent, and longstanding volunteer, Alex brings a wealth of experience and insight to the role along with a deep commitment to the school and BCS community.
Since her time as a student, Alex has remained closely connected to the school, contributing her time and leadership in support of alumni engagement and community-building initiatives. Her background beyond BCS, spanning leadership roles in the public and private sectors, and extensive community involvement, will be an important asset to guide the Association Board into its next chapter.
Her appointment feels especially meaningful this year, as her daughter prepares to graduate from BCS, marking another chapter in her family’s story with the school. Experiencing BCS as both an alumna and a current parent gives Alex a unique perspective.
We are also thrilled that Alex will take part in this year’s graduation ceremony as a speaker. In her new role as Association Board Chair, she will be welcomed to the dais for the first time, sharing reflections with the Class of 2026 at this important milestone. Please join us in congratulating her on her new role and celebrating her continued commitment to the BCS community.
“BCS shaped my life in profound ways and I have watched it have a similar impact on my daughter. It’s an honour to step into this role at such a meaningful moment—not only as an alumna, but as a parent of a graduating student. It is a privilege to be part of the BCS community and to have a chance to give back to a place that gave so much to me.”
