Stephan Scholl, BCS'88, and Association Board member, rang the NYSE opening bell on Tuesday to celebrate Alight Inc.'s commencement of trading.

Following the successful close of the Alight Solutions and Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. business combination on July 2, 2021, the newly-formed Alight, Inc.'s Class A common stock and warrants began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, July 6, under the ticker symbols 'ALIT' and 'ALITW.'

Stephan, CEO of Alight Solutions, took to Twitter to express his excitement on Tuesday: "Today is an incredibly exciting day for Alight Solutions, and I couldn't be prouder to have the privilege to represent our company, our clients, and our people for this historic milestone."

From his success in the tech industry to his time on the Moulton Hill playing fields, Stephan has long been a dynamic leader and motivational force. During his four years at BCS, he captained the senior football team and was a proud member of Grier North House. A long-time supporter of his alma mater, he joined the BCS Association Board in 2015 and played an instrumental role in the 2016 strategic and campus master planning processes.

Taking the helm of the Alight team in April 2020, Stephan took advantage of the limitations brought on by the pandemic to meet virtually with over 45 existing clients in the first weeks of his tenure—something that would have taken far longer in person, as per previous business practice. He set about shoring up his leadership team throughout that summer, looking forward and planning out Alight’s next exciting chapter: the era of the employee.
