A New Year
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, our students made a special presentation to usher in the Year of the Ox.
This morning in chapel Catherine and Rachel shared the history and some of the customs from this special holiday and earlier this week, Laura, Alice, Jessica, and Johny recorded a beautiful performance of the traditional Chinese song "Nine-Nine Eighty-One" for the occasion.
Their presentation features the ocarina, a traditional wind instrument from Asia played by Laura and pen drumming by Johny.
