Adventure is calling
This morning in chapel, Ms. Rowell and Ms. Lamb announced the 2021 Ondaatje Endeavour.
The Ondaatje Endeavour teaches students about themselves by challenging them to do things they would not otherwise do, so that they discover that their potential is greater than they would otherwise have thought. Since 1971, we've been sending out a handful of deserving students in form IV, V, VI on amazing adventures—from scuba diving in Belize to cycling through Peru. This year an exciting trip of rafting and hiking in the Côte-Nord region of eastern Quebec is in the works.
The lucky chosen adventurers will embark on this 10 day journey in August of 2021. From white-water rafting through the twists and turns of the Magpie river, to trekking the hills and mountains of the Boreal Forest, the escapade will be exhilarating, to say the least. Students will be able to camp under the clear starry night skies along the river each night, with an abundance of pride from each days journey and challenges.
Interested in knowing more about this year's trip? Head to Ms. Rowell's classroom (P-110) on Thursday, February 4 at 12:45 PM to learn more.
