In February we started a new feature on our LinkedIn page to spotlight our BCS Association Board Members. Our #BCSAssociationBoard campaign highlights these directors, who generously give their time and expertise to serve our school, supporting us in achieving our mission, pursuing our vision, and upholding our core values.

Today’s feature is Avery (MacKay) Russell, BCS’85, who joined the Association Board in 2014. Her mother, Elizabeth Price McCrudden, is a KHC alumna (Class of ’59) and Avery ensured the rich legacy continued with her own four children: Bryce, BCS’11; Ella, BCS’12; Nicola, BCS’15; and Blake, BCS’18. Avery is chairing our '50 Years Together' Celebration, which will honour the anniversary of the merger of Bishop’s College School and King’s Hall, Compton. Learn more about the history of KHC in the Fall 2021 edition of The BCS Bulletin and stay tuned for more information about the celebration coming soon!

Pssst… Ella Russell recently released their first book titled ‘Pink is for Everybody.’ Order your copy on Amazon today or read more about their book on our LinkedIn.
