Alumni Spotlight: Peter Thomson Publishes Family Memoir

Alumni Spotlight: Peter Thomson Publishes Family Memoir

We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni, whose curiosity, leadership, and lifelong pursuit of learning continue to make an impact well beyond our campus.

Peter Thomson, BCS'70 has remained a dedicated member of the BCS community for decades, generously giving back to the School while building a remarkable legacy of his own. His recently published book, Forget Not: A Thomson Family Memoir, is the culmination of years of meticulous research into his family's history and its role in shaping Canadian business.

Co-authored with Colleen Gray, the memoir traces three generations of the Thomson family, weaving together personal stories with significant moments in Canada's economic and social history. For Peter, the project was as much about preserving family legacy as it was about reconnecting with relatives, friends, and those whose memories helped bring the past to life.

We congratulate Peter on this remarkable achievement and are grateful to count him among the many BCS alumni whose passion continue to inspire our community.
