Around the corner

This morning in chapel, we learned about the Lennoxville Cornerstone Food Bank.

Mr. Perry Comeau, long-time BCS employee, together with his wife, started the Cornerstone Food Bank in 2006. This morning he spoke about his experience, with touching stories that inspired us all. He shared examples of how he was able to make a big difference in the lives of Lennoxville community members with only a small gesture.

The Lennoxville Cornerstone Food Bank continues to serve community members in need through the help of donors and volunteers today. As Mr. Lafrance wrapped up the end of chapel, he reminded our students to look around the corner. "While it is great to donate to organizations and communities worldwide, it is so important to start with our own community," he expressed. "There are families in Lennoxville that don't get to have a warm meal to eat around the table each night."

BCS will be raising funds and collecting food items for the Cornerstone Food Bank during the next week. Funds can be given to Ms. Lowry, SH-107, and non-perishable food items can be placed by the chapel stairs.
