Artists unite

Our Form VII IB Visual Arts students proudly displayed their work during the Final Art Exhibition today in Mitchell Family House.

Thirteen SL (Standard Level) and three HL (Higher Level) students in Mr. Brandon’s Visual Arts class displayed the hard (art) work they’ve been busy creating over the past two years. Their artistic themes ranged from ‘Love,' ‘Stars and Scars,’ ‘Patterns in Nature,’ and ‘Chaos,' while their mediums varied from street photography to wood burning and acrylic paintings to mixed media sculpture. The exhibit will remain open to our community tomorrow during the lunch period, as well as during our Stoker Arts Festival this weekend—come support our talented artists!

During the highly anticipated Stoker Arts Festival, students will partake in a variety of art workshops in the morning. This year's festival includes a wide range of exciting activities, including everything from cooking to drumming. Later in the afternoon, we'll be treated to live musical performances by members of our community, showcasing a diverse selection of rock, jazz, punk, and classical genres. Join us for a day filled with creativity, entertainment, and celebration of the arts!
