BCS Mentorship Program

A couple of weeks ago, Stephan Dyer, BCS'06, caught up with Yat Long Aaron "Aaron", Form VII, facilitated by the BCS Mentorship Program.

"Aaron reached out to the Alumni Office for help with finding an internship for the summer," explained Susan Cook, Alumni Services Coordinator. "We helped him post on our BCS Alumni Facebook Group and on LinkedIn, and then we followed that with an email to all alumni who have raised their hands to be part of this program and offer mentorship. Stephan quickly stepped up, volunteering to speak with Aaron."

The BCS Mentorship Program connects current students and young (and older!) alumni with alumni mentors, to glean valuable advice and experience regarding academic journeys, career development processes, and networking opportunities. Forming these connections amongst alumni and with current students is a huge part of the Advancement Department’s role in our community.

If you are interested in joining this program, please send us an email: alumni@bishopscollegeschool.com. We are seeking mentors
and mentees. Read more in the spring 2022 issue of The BCS Bulletin—coming soon to your inboxes!
