Can-do attitude
With one successful fundraiser under their belts, the Ondaatje Endeavour group is hard at work preparing for their second fundraising event.
Earlier this year, our group of intrepid adventurers organized a care package fundraiser to raise money for their trip to Magpie River. After receiving an impressive 50 orders, they set about putting together the packages for our students. Each bag was filled with goodies, including snacks, ready-to-bake cookies, drinks, and a personalized mug. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraiser such a great success!
Hot on the heels of their first fundraising effort, the team is currently organizing a second campaign to raise funds for their impending trip—an empty can and bottle drive. Our students, staff, and faculty can donate their empty and rinsed cans and bottles between now and May 25 to Pattison 113 and 110. Large bags of donations can be dropped off behind the H. Weir Davis Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday, May 25 between 7:30 AM and 8:45 AM.
Ms. Rowell, Ms. Lamb, and the entire Ondaatje group would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone for their support and generosity. The group is eager to embark on their voyage to the Magpie River in August this year thanks to YOUR support!
