Don't brrrst my bubble!

Our annual Winter Carnival activities are officially underway and we're kicking things off with some high-spirited games of Snow Soccer and Snow Bubbleball.

This year, instead of our classic three-day event, we're rolling out a three-week schedule of fun activities that our community can enjoy. "We wanted to keep our traditional Carnival activities alive with some adjustments for the health and safety of our community," our Assistant Director of Student Life, Julie Lowry, explained. "Our goal was to find the perfect balance between athletics, arts and creativity, and house bonding. After all, Carnival is the biggest house bonding event of the year!"

Over the next three weeks, our community will participate in outdoor, in-house, and virtual activities culminating in one big day of Carnival fun and house spirit on February 11. To ramp up the inter-house competition and house bonding, every Thursday, leading up to February 11, will be a dress down day for students to show off their house colours. Rumour has it that there will be a prize for the house that shows off the most spirit!

This year's Carnival Committee is still putting the finishing touches on the schedule so keep an eye out for it in your inbox and make sure to check our social often for photos from the events!
