Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and for the occasion, students stood together in chapel this morning and sang “We Shall Overcome.” Our prefects followed this with a presentation in which they described Dr. King’s life, activism, and legacy. They concluded with a clip of his “I have a Dream” speech and the following quote by Dr. King: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
