Friday knights in the Student Centre


The Chess Tournament last weekend was a huge success.

Ms. Hollie Menard, one of our activity coordinators, was happy to see many students participate in the first Chess Tournament of the new year last Friday. With prizes involved for the winners, our competitors were extra hungry for the win. Congratulations to the three titleholders of the tournament: Aviv in third, Nathan in second, and finally, Tadeas in first place!

Stay tuned for the results of the next chess event, to be held on Friday, February 18.

The fun will continue this weekend with plenty of exciting activities that include preparations for Lunar New Year next Monday! The schedule is as follows:

  • Lunar New Year Bigs & Littles event in the Dining Hall tonight at 6:30 PM.
  • Movie Night in the Chapel tonight at 8:30 PM.
  • Trip to Carrefour de l'Estrie tomorrow at 1:00 PM.
  • Bingo Night in the Student Centre tomorrow at 8:15 PM.
  • Bonfire and sledding in the Quad Sunday at 1:00 PM.
