Many Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) projects are currently underway, including one that involves crocheting blankets.

Anne M. and Alexa R.M. in Form VI are getting the ball rolling (pun intended!) with their chosen project. Students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme have two years to complete their CAS component in Form VI-Form VII to receive the diploma. Our CAS Coordinator, Ms. Harkness, shared her excitement to see these projects come to life. In this role, she is always available to facilitate and oversee all their projects. Anne and Alexa decided to crochet blankets for premature infants to be donated to a local children’s hospital. As part of their project, Anne (who is an experienced crochetier) is teaching Alexa to crochet—which is a valuable skill-sharing/learning component of the project.
