Leaders in the making

Ana Carolina, Chaimber, Emma A., and Sylas represented BCS at the CAIS Senior School Student Leadership Conference this past week. The conference had four key objectives: to enhance the attendees' knowledge and understanding of leadership, to cultivate their leadership skills, to collaborate on developing school-based action plans, and lastly (and most importantly!) to have fun. Head to our Instagram to see photos!

The trip was a great success, with one of the highlights being our students winning the prestigious 'Head's Cup.' The award recognized the team that could produce the most creative, innovative, and inclusive plan for a welcome week. In addition, Emma and Chaimber also participated in a leadership slam event, where they had to present on a project they had created at school. Their presentation focused on the Positive Change Committee, which earned them another award!

Thank you to the conference host, Rothesay Netherwood School in New Brunswick, and to Mr. Merritt and Mrs. Lowry for attending the event with our students. We couldn’t be prouder of this next generation of leaders and we’re excited to witness what they will achieve in the future.
