Each year, a group of upcoming Form VII students are selected to be prefects.

Prefects play a big role in shaping the school year by sharing ideas, organizing activities, and supporting the community. Applicants must be in good academic standing, a role model, respectful to their peers and adults in the community, and want to contribute to the school.

Following a brief introduction to the application process after chapel this morning, interested students were invited to pick up an application form from Mrs. Lyster's office. These must be submitted by May 1, along with a video introducing themselves and why they have chosen to pursue this leadership opportunity, due by May 8. The videos will be showcased internally to the BCS community, with voting scheduled for May 18. Selected individuals will then be invited for one-on-one interviews with our hiring committee. The 2023-24 prefects will be announced during chapel on June 2!
