Literacy in Action

Mrs. Harkness took a small group of students to Lennoxville yesterday to begin computer literacy skill-sharing.

This activity was held by Literacy in Action—a local "community organization that educates English-speaking adults, youth & families for free with activities and 1-to-1 support." Our student volunteers will work with community members, helping them learn basic computer and internet functions. Yesterday they had their first meeting in person to learn digital skill share training. The group will return tomorrow and then again on November 26 to complete their preparation. We can't wait for them to put these skills in action and help their community.

Thank you to Literacy in Action for having us!
