Mock up
Mr. Tessier's Form II Ethics class conducted a mock trial as part of an evaluated group project yesterday morning.
The students were given three classes to prepare for the trial, with the mock attorneys working closely with volunteer witnesses from Form VI. At the same time, the jury members, bailiff, and appointed judge familiarized themselves with the trial proceedings. All the Form II students conducted research on the case and the responsibilities associated with the judge and jury duty. Markus was assigned the role of journalist, and the class looks forward to reading his article regarding the trial and its verdict.
By all accounts, the mock trial proved to be an engaging and positive experience for everyone involved. Mr. Tessier would like to express his sincere appreciation to our Form VI witnesses: Carlo, Chaimber, Elliott, Georgia, Isabella, Leila, Leo, and Isabella. Their participation was invaluable to the success of the mock trial.
