Olé, Olé, Olé, Olé!

Once upon a beautiful Saturday morning, eight highly skilled soccer teams came together for the annual BCS Mini World Cup. Students (and staff) went head to head in this school-wide soccer tournament. The competition was fierce this year, with all teams showing off their sportsmanship and skills.

In the highly anticipated Staff vs USA game, Team Staff came out ahead. Mexico and Europe fans were loud and proud as they cheered on their teams from the sidelines—dancing and singing away! Team United Nations brought in the comedy with their signs that read 'you can't spell FUN without UN.' Team Canada also had great accessories to show off their pride. The Boba Tea pop-up store and Advancement Department set up a tent and sold delicious drinks to players and spectators to keep everyone well hydrated.

In the end, Team Quebec came out on top, winning the most games. But that's not what it's all about—the true winner of the BCS Mini World Cup isn't the team who wins the most games, it's the team with the best spirit! Look out in our stories this week to find out who will win the coveted trophy. Parents—head to Flickr to see all the photos from the event.

A huge thank you to Mr. White for organizing the event and to all volunteers who came out to support!
