One step ahead
Our Form VI IB Physics class kicked off their Docs to test their power by running up Centre Stairs.
Mrs. Rowell’s class is currently learning about energy and power, and conducted two power challenges to understand the power = work/time theorem. For the first activity, each student took turns timing their run up the stairs (with a breaking record of just under three seconds!). With the potential for scientifically-backed bragging rights on the line, everyone gave it their best shot—including passersby like Mr. Houston, Corporate and Community Relations Officer.
From the sheer amount of laughter and smiles we witnessed, it's safe to say that physically experiencing a physics theory is the way to go!
