Paving the way

This week our students have been learning about the main Canadian political parties of the upcoming federal election.

On Monday, September 20, 2021, in collaboration with CIVIX-Canada, our community will participate in a nationwide mock election. We will be among 950 schools (and 1.1 million students!) across Canada that are taking part in this massive effort to educate students about Canadian democracy.

All students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to cast their vote in the gym. During the week, Mr. Courchesne and Mr. McCormick will continue to email the community with informational PowerPoints about each political party. This will allow our community to make an informed and educated decision on our choice.
