Practise makes perfect
Today all Form V and interested Form VI students took the PSAT.
From 8:30 AM to 12:45 PM, our 74 exam-takers sat in the gym to tackle the PSAT, which stands for Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test. The PSAT is a great experience for our students to practise test taking skills and learn how to study for a test. At BCS, all Form V students write the PSAT and all Form VI students have the opportunity to write the SAT. The SAT is for students who may wish to pursue a college education in the United States, as it is usually a requirement for the admissions process. The test measures a high school student's readiness for college through mathematics, reading, writing, and grammar skills.
For our students who want to take their SAT study skills to the next level, the R.D.W. Howson Enrichment Centre (EC) regularly runs prep courses throughout the year. Reach out to Ms. Gardner-Bray for more information.
