Excitement filled the air today as our community participated in the start of the 2022 BCS Winter Carnival!

This year's theme is 'Mirror! Mirror!' and each house was assigned a Disney movie upon which to base their skits, flags, and costumes. The activities started after lunch with a maple taffy social organized by the Advancement department. After the sweet treat, everyone gathered in the front of School House for the official start of Winter Carnival where all students (and teachers) wore their house colours with pride! The Great Race was the first event, and it was comprised of six Disney-themed stations where each house had to work together to finish first in the obstacle race. Shortly after the race, the traditional tug of war took place. The day ended with a disco ice-skating party in the rink, a movie in the Student Centre, and games in the gym.
