Roaring with pride

Over the past weekend, two of our Bears, Livia and Olivia, achieved remarkable success in their athletic disciplines.

Form III (incoming Form IV) student, Livia, competed in the Jeux du Québec Finals in track and field. She proudly secured two bronze medals in the long jump (with a personal record of 5m26!) and the triple jump. Fun fact: Livia is one of the youngest participants in her competitions, often going against competitors who are 2-4 years older. Let's cheer her on as she prepares for the upcoming National Youth Track and Field Championships on August 11-13.

Form VI (incoming Form VII) student, Olivia, just returned from the 2023 Trampoline Gymnastics Canadian Championships. She achieved an impressive first-place finish in the qualifying round and earned a silver medal in the finals the following day! Olivia's remarkable performance has qualified her for the next national level of tumbling in the upcoming competitive season.

Way to go, Olivia and Livia!
