Round Square friendships

Last October, Form IV student Victoria said goodbye to BCS for three months and flew to Denmark for her Round Square exchange.

In January, Victoria returned to BCS with Julie, a Form IV exchange student from Denmark. Julie has been immersed in the Canadian culture and the BCS community for two months—taking classes alongside Victoria and living in Gillard House. This morning in chapel, the girls presented on Danish culture and spoke about their experiences as part of the Round Square International Exchange Program. Julie thanked the community and her peers and said goodbye for the last time as she departs this weekend back to Denmark. After the presentation, Mr. Lafrance presented Julie with a special BCS Round Square tie.

Thank you to our Round Square Coordinator, Ms. Gardner-Bray, for organizing the exchange and Herlufsholm Skole for partnering with us for this wonderful opportunity.
