Sharing the history of St. Patrick’s Day, Form V students reenacted the story of Saint Patrick through a hilarious short skit this morning.

Chaimber and Evan rose from the chapel pews in their costumes to start off the skit as Chelsi and Emma narrated the story. They told the story of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who was captured by Irish raiders and became a shepherd as a young man. The highlight of the skit was the student who acted as the sheep, giving the audience a laugh. The performance ended with a scene of Saint Patrick killing a snake (portrayed by the student lying on the stage), which refers to the legend that he drove snakes out of Ireland during the fifth century.

Should we start a petition to turn all history lessons into skits? We think so.
