Speaking of success
This year, despite the Quebec Association of Independent Schools (QAIS) cancelling their annual Public Speaking Competition, our English Department organized a mini competition of their own.
Last year, Evan and Aurélie emerged as winners in the BCS Public Speaking Competition and went to the QAIS Finals in Montreal. In this year's mini competition, we saw some exceptional performances by our students. The judges assessed each presentation on the basis of its content and delivery. Among the junior runners-up were Mateo and Alegra, while Juan took the top spot. In the senior category, Alistair and Karen emerged as runners-up, and Abby secured first place.
Thank you to both our students who took part in the competition and our English Department who made this event possible.
