During the month of May, students in Mrs. Craig's Form III English Language Arts class are creating an anthology of their own poetry.

Today, Mrs. Craig's class completed part two of a poetry workshop led by Mr. Crowther inspired by an abstract painting created by Sacha, Form VII.
Last week, during the first part of the workshop, students put together phrases that came to mind when looking at the painting. This week, they took words out of the original phrases they had come up with and glued them onto colourful paper to create entirely new phrases. These new phrases made up a beautiful poem to add to their growing anthologies of work. Mr. Crowther loves to give these types of workshops to 'get the creative juices flowing.'

We look forward to seeing the final masterpieces!
