From the juicy and tender steaks searing on the grill to the warm gooey cinnamon BeaverTails, you could smell our block party from miles away.

The Advancement Team organized a House Sweet Home Mid-Campaign celebration for our community to enjoy last Friday evening. Each house enjoyed a BBQ in their backyard with all the accompaniments, including mouth-watering steaks, chicken, sides, cookies, and soda. The cherry on top was the surprise BeaverTails food truck that parked in front of School House. The biggest dilemma of the evening was having to pick between one of their three most popular flavours—chocolate, maple, or cinnamon sugar.

A huge thank you to our Advancement Team for organizing the spectacular event, and special thanks to our dining hall staff for the delicious food and houseparents for helping make the event unforgettable. There are only FOUR weeks left in our House Sweet Home campaign. At our mid-campaign mark, we have already surpassed half of our total goals and we are excited to see what the future holds. Our campaign has been a huge success and we couldn't have done it without your support!
