Super start
This year’s highly anticipated Tech Week started today.
On today’s agenda, students competed in a video game tournament—some raced for the win in a Super Mario Kart contest on Game Cube, and others battled each other in a game of Super Smash Bros on the Switch.
In the afternoon, our Form V Science class—as well as many curious Form VII students—attended a superconductor train demonstration put on by Curieux Quantique from the Université of Sherbrooke. Learning about quantum mechanics, they were able to see (and feel) how liquid nytrogen reacts with the superconductor within the train.
