Teamwork makes the dream work
This past weekend was Orientation Camp—a two-day adventure in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier.
Students spent the entire weekend taking part in team-building exercises and games. The goal? To get students out of their comfort zones and challenging themselves. Lots of activities were on the schedule, including zip lining, whitewater rafting, rifle handling, wall repelling, obstacle course races, and swimming. All students also had the chance to practise survival skills, such as fire building and knot tying. They even tried Canadian Armed Forces food rations for one meal. Throughout the year students will meet on Thursdays to hone these and other skills learned as part of our Cadets Program.
Our Head of School, Mr. Lafrance, captured photos and videos throughout the weekend—check out our latest Reel for a glimpse of the fun and stay tuned for more photos!
