Weekend game strong
This past weekend was filled with activities and great times outdoors in the beautiful spring weather.
A Chess Tournament and arts and crafts in the Student Centre kicked off the weekend on the right note as students finished dinner on Friday. On Saturday, we held our 2022 Stoker Arts Festival. The morning was spent learning new skills at workshops led by teachers, staff, and local artists. As the afternoon rolled around, students made their way to the Quad to enjoy live music (by student bands and teachers!) and delicious food truck snacks. "I would like to firstly thank the Stoker family for the continuous support of the arts promotion event and James Benson for all his help with the organization," expressed Mrs. Labelle, Stoker Arts Festival Organizer. "I would also like to thank and congratulate the workshop leaders [...] and our musical artists—there was lots of laughter, fun, learning, and hidden talents!"
The weekend fun didn't stop there—students took a trip to Escaparium and worked together to escape a room before the clock ran out of time. On Sunday, a group of adventurous students went to O-VOLT, an amusement centre filled with trampolines and agility games.
