Information & guidance concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The health and safety of our community is our top priority. We continue to collaborate with local health authorities, particularly Santé Publique Estrie's COVID-19 committee, and follow the directives of our provincial and federal governments.

Thank you to the BCS family for the support and solidarity that you continue to show us throughout this process. It is in times of trial that we show our true colours and we are prouder than ever of our community’s purple spirit.

Please consult our latest communication below for more information.

We will continue to update this page as the situation evolves.

Visiting our campus

We are open for visits year-round and can personalize the experience according to your needs. To follow the recommendations put forth by our health authorities and government, all visitors to campus will need to fill out a questionnaire prior to the visit answering the following three questions:
    • Do I have any of the COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, difficulty breathing, or sudden loss of smell?
    • Have I returned from a trip outside the country within the last 14 days?
    • Have I been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes,’ we will not be able to permit your entry onto our campus.

In addition, all visitors must wear a mask and abide by physical distancing parameters while on our campus.

If you are unable to come for an in-person tour please contact our Admissions team who would be happy to offer alternative ways to learn about our campus or check out our virtual visit options.

Health & Wellness

Our School Counsellor, Marie-Noëlle Gattuso, is available to all our students and employees. Make an appointment for one-on-one Zoom meetings or for family sessions. A Counselling Support group is available to families on the BCS Portal, which Marie-Noëlle regularly updates with helpful information and resources. For additional support and information please consult the COVID-19 Youth Mental Health Resource Hub.

Our Physiotherapist, Katelyn MacDonald has prepared a physical wellness program for students and staff accessible through the Physiotherapy & Athletic Therapy page on the BCS Portal. She is available for online consultation by email. Our Strength Coach, Josh Bray has also been providing daily tips and advice on staying fit and in shape while at home.
