Information & guidance concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The health and safety of our community is our top priority, as we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving state of this pandemic. We are collaborating with local health authorities, particularly Santé Publique Estrie's COVID-19 committee, and following the directives of our provincial and federal governments.

We are currently on Spring Break and only administrative and essential services staff are working at this time—and the majority of those employees are working remotely, as we collectively work to mitigate the spread of the virus in North America and practise social-distancing. The Canadian government has now issued a Level 3 travel assessment for ALL countries; this means non-essential travel outside of Canada is highly discouraged. A 14-day self-isolation is requested of any person entering Quebec from outside of Canada. As of March 16, Canada has closed its borders to all non-Canadian citizens and permanent residents including U.S. citizens.

In consultation with our Board of Directors and considering our best information to date, we have decided to extend our students’ Spring Break into the first week of April. During that first week of April, we plan to launch interim online content. Both the Quebec government and the International Baccalaureate have cancelled exams for the 2019-2020 school year. Regardless of this, we are committed to continuing our robust academic program, and excited about the opportunity this gives us to re-examine how we assess our students. Please see the communications below for more information.

As of March 21, all Quebec schools will continue to be closed until May 1. Our plan is to re-open Moulton Hill campus to all students and visitors on Sunday, May 3. We have chosen to extend our students’ time off campus, as we lack clarity from our governments on timelines of measures imposed. This extension also gives our families time to make arrangements. Please consult our latest communication below for more information.

We will continue to update this page as the situation evolves.

Visiting our campus

To follow the recommendations put forth by our health authorities and government, we are not able to host campus visits at this time. To learn more about BCS or for more information, please contact our Admissions team who would be happy to offer alternative ways to learn about our campus.
