Effort Ratings

Every two weeks, students are assessed by teachers on the basis of academic effort. Effort Ratings are not about marks or achievement, they are purely an evaluation of student participation and engagement with course work. These ratings serve several purposes: they encourage students to do their best every week; they help identify students who may need extra supervision and attention during prep time (homework); and they keep parents informed of their child's progress.

Your child's Effort Ratings are available on the BCS Portal. Please use your login details to access this document. Should you have any problems in logging into the BCS Portal, please contact Mrs. Lyne Labrecque.

Should you have any concerns about your child’s academic performance or effort, please do not hesitate to contact the individual subject teacher, your child’s advisor, or the Director of Academics, Mrs. Roxane Vigneault
