Performance Centres & Spaces

Resource

PerformanceCentresSpacesHero.jpg

Our spaces encourage and promote curiosity and creativity inside and outside the classroom to allow students to challenge themselves and find their voice.

Our on campus performance centres and spaces include an expansive art room, band room, drama room, podcast studio, state-of-the-art black box theatre, and breathtaking chapel. Our students also have access to Centennial Theatre and Foreman Art Gallery within walking distance at Bishop's University. Outings to various artistic spaces throughout the Eastern Townships and Montreal are not uncommon to our students.

The wide variety of spaces enable our students to flourish and grow their passions. A space to create captivating podcasts and masterful works of arts is just around the corner—how will you create your path?

I will never forget the play ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ that I did for the spring production during my first year at BCS where I played Glinda the Good. All of the funny and unforgettable rehearsals, costume crafting, makeup, and fantastic set design. We all became a little family that was supporting each other every second. The greatest joy was to perform for little kids, hear their delight towards the play, take pictures at the end of the show, and hear them say ‘Hey mom, can you introduce me to the Good Witch, please?’
