Honouring their service

Nov. 8, 2016 | The BCS Marching Band, NCO's, and Colour Party delivered a memorable performance once again at this year's Remembrance Day parade in Lennoxville.

This past Sunday, the BCS No. 2 Cadet Corps took to the streets of Lennoxville alongside local veterans to honour the men and women who gave their lives in defence of our freedom. Our Marching Band always performs "O Canada" at the beginning of the annual ceremony but this year we were proud to have trumpeter Corey L. also perform the "Last Post" and "Reveille". The band was also asked to play "God Save the Queen" to end the ceremony.

As we do every year, BCS will hold our own Remembrance Day service this Friday, November 11 in St. Martin's Chapel. Parents are welcome to attend.

Special thanks to Linda Annesley for the photo.
