Stress-slayers

Jan. 13, 2017 | Mr. Crowther took the floor in assembly this morning, talking about symbolism, superstition, and our unique opportunity to shape our lives and slay our stress dragons.

As the full moon collides with Friday the 13th tonight, he encouraged students to take control of what is generally considerend an unlucky and jinx-ridden day. As he pointed out, it's only identified as such because we allow it to be and continue to believe the notion. Mr. Crowther shared that we control what we allow to affect us and urged the community to harness the stress we may feel and use it to our advantage. And, while we're at it, why not celebrate this special Friday - like he did with his horror movie-homage t-shirt!
