After dinner discourse

Mar. 2, 2017 | As part of their English class, six students in Forms II and III delivered their speeches in Chapel during first period.

Contestants Monica Q., Joudy A., Priscilla A., Frank Z., Victor F., and Evan N. were all selected as finalists in the junior category. Their three-minute speeches were themed as "after-dinner" speeches to an imagined audience of their choice. After a difficult decision on the part of the judges, Evan was announced as the first place winner while Monica came in second. Evan's creative speech was tailored for inmates about to be paroled, focusing on the future ahead of them. He will now represent BCS at the QAIS Public Speaking Contest in Montreal next month.
